This newsletter is such a beautiful space, thank you for sharing your work with us! Apologies if this is lame but I wanted to share my own newsletter (bookcrumbs) because I think you might like it. Every week, I recommend one novel along with a film and song pairing that I think fits it's flavour profile. Maybe check it out?
Beautiful piece. Erik Hoel's recent essays on Effective Altruism also touch on some of the main points. It always comes back to profit motive, doesn't it? I know people in Vermont who insulate with hemp, but I don't know anything else about hemp. Would hemp return to the earth, as it were, after X amount of years?

Hi Mahika! Book crumbs is lovely, especially the flavour profile vibe:)
Great read/listen for commercial property developers.
Thank you Neil! I think I'm gonna repost it on LinkedIn now, with #realestate etc added.

Thank you! Hadn't thought of compostable houses as a long-termist EA approach, but I guess you're right.
Yes, hemp is fantastic for insulation. And you can also make walls with it. You mix it with lime, which makes it last a very long time, and ram it inside a mold. Like this project: https://www.dezeen.com/2022/08/22/the-voice-of-urban-nature-floriade-overtreders-w/
